About
Us
Gemtool was born from a personal need. During my gemmology training I used paper forms to identify gemstones — and it worked. But as my own collection grew, I lost track of all the folders and loose documents.
Our story
I wanted an online tool to record all measurements, find stones quickly and keep everything organised.
I searched, but never found anything that truly met my needs. So I decided to build it myself — a tool that fits the way a gemologist or gemstone enthusiast actually works. No compromises, no missing fields, no clunky workflows.
What started as a personal project soon proved valuable to others. People around me who work with gemstones were very enthusiastic and started using the tool as well. That was the push to make Gemtool available to everyone who works with gemstones.
